Zelda Takes Boston: Symphony Style

“We don’t belong here.”

Last night fellow Reboot writer Alex Wilking and I took a trip to Boston’s Symphony Hall. That quote belongs to him, and honestly he was right. We didn’t belong there.

Alex and I went to see The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses in person. Alex was somewhat prepared, he’s at least played the games and written about the symphony before. I, on the other hand, had no idea what was going on.

We showed up to Symphony Hall about 45 minutes before the start of the show, and it was immediately clear how out of place we were. A large portion of the crowd was wearing elf ears and green hats, passing the time before the show playing on their 3DS while munching on an “International Cheese and Fruit Plate” they paid sixteen dollars for.
